Issues of teeth problems:

Bunched Up Teeth and What Isues Men Struggle With: This can happen when there is simply a lack of room within your jaw for all of your teeth to fit normally. Dealing with overcrowded teeth may not be on your top priority due to the fact you’ve grown up with this issue. However you may be surprised to learn that this can lead to tooth decay and promote worse tooth growth that can lead to other health issues.
Wide spaces between teeth: This can be caused by the abnormal continued growth of your jaw bone. When you have missing teeth, this problem may also be caused by the other teeth shifting due to extra space. Spacing between your teeth can cause some periodontal diseases.

Maloclusion and Men’s Issues: What people commonly refer to as an “overbite” is known to dental professionals as “overjet. This happens when your upper teeth over bite the lower teeth. This can happen due to genetics, bad oral habits, or over growth of the bones supporting the teeth. This may result in gum problems and irritation, and also wear on the lower teeth that can cause painful jaw and joint problems.

Men’s Underbite Issues: This can happen when the lower teeth extend past the front teeth. This can happen due to the undergrowth of the upper jaw, overgrowth of the lower jaw, or both. Because of upper missing teeth, it can also happen. This problem can slow down the normal function of your front teeth or molars which can lead to tooth wear. And at times can cause painful joint and jaw problems.

Cross Bite Issues: This occurs when the upper and lower jaws are both misaligned. This can make for one or more upper teeth to bite on the inside of the lower teeth, and may happen on both the front or sides of the moth. This problem can cause wear on your teeth, create gum disease, and promote bone loss.

Best Diet To Control High Blood Pressure

July 2nd, 2009    Subscribe To Our Feed

Research has shown that following a fit eating plan can both decrease the risk of building up high blood pressure and reducing an already elevated blood pressure. Vegetarians have lower blood pressure levels. Experts demand that a typical vegetarian’s diet to control high blood pressure contains more potassium, complex carbohydrates, polyunsaturated fat, fiber, calcium, magnesium, vitamin C and vitamin A, all of which may have a favorable act upon on blood pressure.

Fiber Is Effective Diet to Control High Blood Pressure

A high-fiber diet to control high blood pressure has been shown to be effective in forbidding and treating many kinds of cardiovascular disease, including hypertension. The kinds of dietary fiber are significant. This diet is one of the most effective diets employed for controlling blood pressure. Of the biggest benefit to hypertension are the water soluble gel-making fibers such as oat bran, apple pectin, psyllium seeds, and guar gum. These fibers, additionally benefit against hypertension, are also utile to bring down cholesterol levels, promote weight loss, etc.
Take one to three tablespoonfuls of herbal bulging formula containing such things as oat fiber, guar gum, apple pectin, gum karaya, psyllium seed, dandelion root powder, ginger root powder, fenugreek seed powder and fennel seed powder.

Avoid Sugar Diet to Control High Blood Pressure

Sucrose, common table sugar, contributes towards increase in the blood pressure. Underlying mechanism is not distinctly understood. It is possible that sugar raises the production of adrenaline, which in turn, raises blood vessel tightness and sodium holding. Take a diet to control high blood pressure that is rich in high potassium foods (vegetables and fruits) and necessary fatty acids. Day by day intake of potassium should total 7 grams per day. The diet should be down in saturated fat, sugar and salt. Generally, a whole food diet stressing vegetables and members of the garlic/onion family should be eaten.
In an NIH patronized research called “Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH),” researchers examined the effects of nourishment in food on blood pressure. The results showed that increased blood pressures were decreased by an eating plan that stressed fruits, vegetables, and low-fat dairy foods and was down in saturated fat, total fat, and cholesterol. Nuts, whole grains, fish, and poultry are constituents of the DASH diet. It used reduced amounts of fats, red meats, sweets, and sugared beverages.

Reduce Salt and Sodium in the Diet to Control High Blood Pressure

A key to healthy consuming is picking foods lower in salt and sodium. Before the widespread accessibility of medicine to control high blood pressure, people with severe hypertension had only one high blood pressure treatment option, a drastically salt-reduced, low-calorie “rice dieting.”

How to burn the fat and feed the muscle

July 2nd, 2009    Subscribe To Our Feed

Why is it that every time you hear people talk about losing fat they say that the maximum amount of fat you can safely lose is two pounds per week. How does one burn fat fast and short time periods?

The truth of matter is that 2 pounds per week is not the maximum amount of fat you can safely lose in week. It is only a recommendation from the fitness gurus. The actual fat you can lose depends on many different factors. For instance weight loss is relative to how tall you are and how fast your metabolism is.

Weight loss is an extremely meaningless term unless you talk about it in context of body composition period for instance the fat to muscle ratio, or the water to weight ratio.

So how do you lose more than 2 pounds per week?

It is possible to lose for you more than 2 pounds per week of pure body fat. However, it is easier at the beginning and harder as you progress through your diet.My rule is that the more you put into something the more you get out. This means that you have to be committed to your workout schedule and even more dedicated to your diet.  Now if you want to lose more than 2 pounds per week you simply need a bigger calorie deficit. For instance, if 2,500 calories is your daily maintenance level and you want to drop 3 pounds of body fat per week with just a diet then you’ll need a daily deficit of 1500 calories. This means that you should be eating 1000 calories per day. Now you would lose a massive amount of weight if you could maintain this deficit. However, most people will not be able to last long on this little amount of food. You could, however, training for an insane amounts of time.

What is the answer? Train harder or eat less.

My approach to this problem is a long-term weight control. This means patiently following a nutrition plan that is well-balanced between lean protein, natural carbs and healthy fats. There’s no magic and no quick fix to losing body fat but there aren’t many different methods that are proven to work. you’re looking for workouts that changes everything up and help you keep that off in the long term and you need to check out burn the fat feed the muscle by Tom Veneto. To learn more about this program check out my in depth Burn the Fat Feed the Muscle Review.

Use Of Glycemic Index

Glycemic Index: It’s Useful But Only If Properly Understood

Everyone is talking about glycemic indexin relation to weight loss. You will be able to achieve faster, easier as well as effective weight loss by choosing foods that contain low numbers on the glycemic index. According to the glycemic index carbohydrates are ranked according to the effect they have on your blood sugar levels and so a high number will indicate that the effect on your blood sugar levels will be on the higher side.

Blood Glucose Levels And Glycemic Index

It is however advisable that you realize that it is better to avoid using foods that contain ingredients that will only worsen your blood glucose levelswhich is seen in sudden rise and which is followed by sudden drop in blood sugar levels. It is therefore a good idea to follow the glycemic index as it shows you that instead of eating breads that contain processed white flour you will be better served in eating apples that won’t cause any change in your blood glucose levels.

Of course, before considering the glycemic index to be the Bible of weight loss it pays to look a bit deeper into its true benefits. First and foremost the index is not too exhaustive and furthermore only about five percent of all carbohydrates have as yet been evaluated and find a place on this index. The glycemic index also does not take into account the method of preparation of different carbohydrates and also fails to address issues such as ripeness of the foods.

What’s more, watermelons that find a place high up on the glycemic index are loaded with potassium as well as with Vitamin A and can easily and quickly be eliminated from the human system. These causes are not shown in the glycemic index and so it pays to treat this index as being good as well as has a few disadvantages.

There no doubts the fact that it is ultimately up to you to eat healthy foods and you also need to ensure consuming plenty of minerals, vitamins and other ingredients that are loaded with nutrients. The bottom line is that you can use the glycemic index but at the same time you also need to keep tabs on other aspects including proper preparation of the foods and also realize that there is no quick fix available in regard to weight loss.

A glycemic index chartis an aid to remaining healthy and also in achieving effective weight loss though there are other factors too that play an important role. You will not gain your goals without common amount of determined exertion all your best plans can be laid to waste and.

What Makes The Water You Drink “Healthy Water”?

June 30th, 2009    Subscribe To Our Feed

What makes the water you drink “healthy water”?     Most of us know that there is problem with some of our drinking water – sometimes it is the taste, other times it’s the smell.  But what ever it is, most of us don’t believe that our drinking water is healthy.

It’s estimated 60% to 80% of all cancers are environmental in origin. Many of the studies have said about the presence of chemical carcinogens on surface, municipal treated drinking water and ground water too.
However, often overlooked are the beneficial properties in drinking water that can help protect us from cancer – namely total dissolved solids (TDS), hardness, and pH.

Drinking waterwith higher amounts of TDS and hardness results in lower heart disease and cancer mortality rates.

Fluoridation is a highly emotional and controversial issue in which it is difficult to separate fact from fiction. The bottom line: Is it effective? Is it safe?

Genetic damage in animals and plants has often been linkded with fluoride toxicity, congenital defects in humans and in addition to this a series of allergic reactions ranging from fatigue, urinary tract irritations, headaches, diarrhea can manifest due to polluted water.

Dr. Dean Burk, former researcher with the National Cancer Institute, claims “one tenth of all cancer deaths in this country can be shown to be linked to fluoridation of public drinking water.”

Worldwide there is very little fluoridation. Countries that start usually end up stopping it.
Is the chlorine found in our water used for drinking is developing both cancer and atherosclerosis? Josepgh Price,MD, in the end of 1960 decade penned a fascinating, still not truly accepted book demonstrating the co-relation between “Coronaries, Cholesterol, Chlorine.”

His experiments clearly demonstrate that “the basic cause of atherosclerosis and heart attacks and most common forms of strokes is chlorine. The chlorine contained in drinking water.”
Can chlorine be linked to cancer too? Chlorine combines with natural organic matter creating cancer-causing trihalomethanes (THMs).

Research came form Ohio, Louisiana, New York, Maryland, that where ever the higher levels of THMs are there higher levels of cancer also. Proper water filtration systems can remove these carcinogens.
Bottled water is big business. Generally the bottled water tastes better in comparison the tap water. But is it “healthy water?” It depends on several factors.

Is it hard? Is it moderately high in TDS (total dissolved solids)? Most bottled waters in the United States do not give the information you need to answer these questions. Many bottled waters are processed water using distillation, reverse osmosis, de-ionization or filtration. Frankly, you can do this yourself and save money.
Of the more than 700 brands of bottled water available in the US, around 80% are processed water.
Purchase only bottled natural spring or artesian well waters that come closest to the “healthy water” criteria hardness 170 mg/l and TDS around 300 mg/l.

Another “healthy water” option is using an effective filter. There are excellent, mediocre, and poor filters on the market. Most states require 3rd party testing of water products; however, most people have difficulty understanding the results.

Preliminary research suggests that the ingestion of harmful chemicals from drinking water may not be the primary exposure.

Skin absorption rates for toxic chemicals in both children and adults are much higher than from oral ingestion for toluene, ethyl benzene, and styrene.Â

Inhalation during showering of TCE (trichloroethylene) was 6 to 80 times greater than from drinking the water. Lovers of pools and hot tubs take note.

One solution to consider is a whole-house filtration system for chemical removal, not mineral extraction. Point of use filters for bathing, showering, and drinking are also recommended.
